Brodnicki's new rock garden is in the works!
Students in grades K-6 all participated in painting a rock for our new rock garden, inspired by the book ""Only One You" by Linda Kranz. The rock installation will be set up in the courtyard located near the kindergarten and 4th grade classrooms. We are almost finished with the rocks, and by the end of the month, the installation will be complete!
Artsonia is an online gallery that showcases student artwork from multiple schools across the country. Every project your child completes will be uploaded as a portfolio of work from now until 8th grade and beyond. The purpose for creating a portfolio is to demonstrate student growth in creativity and craftsmanship over time.
If your child is new to Brodnicki this school year, permission slips were sent home with your child on their first day of art class. In order for your child's art to be shown, permission needs to be granted by a parent/guardian. You should also receive an email to verify your permission to have your child's artwork displayed in the gallery. Any emails pending without verification will be removed within 90 days. If you have any questions or concerns, please email me at [email protected].

brodnicki is celebrating international dot day!
International Dot Day, a global celebration of creativity, courage and collaboration, began when teacher Terry Shay introduced his classroom to Peter H. Reynolds’ book The Dot on September 15, 2009.
The Dot is the story of a caring teacher who dares a doubting student to trust in her own abilities by being brave enough to “make her mark”. What begins with a small dot on a piece of paper becomes a breakthrough in confidence and courage, igniting a journey of self-discovery and sharing, which has gone on to inspire countless children and adults around the globe.
On September 15th, students will be asked to come to school dressed in their dot best! Wear clothing filled with any type of dots!
